The 2023 Toyota Corolla has simplified trim levels this year. Choose from a sedan or hatchback body style and three trim levels, starting with the base LE, sporty SE, and top-of-the-line XSE. The base model LE comes nicely equipped, so moving up the trim levels is more about style and convenience upgrades.
LE
The base model comes standard with nice amenities like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and starts at $21,550. The upholstery is a premium fabric, and the wheels are the smallest 16-inch option which works well to produce the best fuel efficiency. The LE model has two possible upgrades: LE Convenience Package and LE Premium Package. The Convenience package adds features like Smart Key, push-button start, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic detection, heated side mirrors, and alloy wheels. The Premium Package adds everything from the Convenience Package plus a power tilt and slide sunroof.
SE
The SE model starts at $23,990 and adds sportier elements like a mesh gloss-black grille, gray side rocker panels, a rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The upholstery is an upgraded sport cloth and fancier front row sports seats. A leather-trimmed steering wheel and metallic accents add to the overall upgraded look. XSE
The XSE model represents the top of the lineup and includes everything from the lower trim levels with a starting price of $26,700. Upgrades include a gray metallic rear spoiler, heated front seats, a power driver's seat, SofTex synthetic leather upholstery, and steering wheel paddle shifters for more control of the CVT gears. A 7-inch fully configurable digital gauge cluster rounds out the top features of the XSE model. Optional upgrades include a two-tone exterior paint, ambient lighting, a JBL audio system upgrade, and a wireless charging pad.
